Re: Passages: Bruce B and Matt M
That's me. [It took Bruce a moment to translate what was, to him, an altered form of english, and he took more care to focus on the words, to try to become familiar with the lilting cadence from the other man.
He watched as Matt crossed the room, no hesitation in his steps, the only faltering seemingly due to injuries. And he nodded to himself once Matt was sitting, glad to see the relaxation it brought. There wasn't much sound or movement from him at first, not until he took a few steps of his own and perched himself on the edge of a chair's seat, the one that was tucked into the corner of the room.
It took longer for him to figure out the next question, first figuring out what had been said, then putting it more into modern phrasing in his head. "Arachne" gave him the most pause, but there wasn't a lot of things it could refer to, especially combined with "her" and "death" and remembering how the two of them came to be in contact in the first place.] I don't actually know. She was familiar with the last version of me that was here, and some of that's carried over to me. [He leaned his elbows on his knees, shoulders hunched.] Has someone explained that? The way people switch?
