Re: Passages: Bruce B and Matt M
[If he were a different type of man, one that could take a surprise without the fear of it being too much (enough to fray his control and let his other side free rein), Bruce may not have realized that there was someone in the doorway. Matt moved quietly enough that it did seem like he was absent one second and there the next, and while that did startle Bruce, being ready for the arrival helped him to not jump. His heart remained at a metronome beat - even and steady with not even a hiccup to betray anything for the moment.
The dark clothes and the blindfold, though, those gave him a bit of pause. He wasn't entirely sure what he was expecting, couldn't remember every detail of the previous conversation he'd had with the man, but it certainly wasn't someone that dressed almost like the people in Selina's door that he'd seen pictures of - both rogues and heroes alike. And that made him wonder what sort of man Matt was.
Bruce didn't know how much sense of the place Matt had, and (recalling what he did remember - the talk about overly sensitive hearing) he kept his voice soft enough to hopefully not startle when he spoke.] You found your way alright?
