Re: in-person, silent hill: neil & mere.
[Neil clung to his anger, because without it he was lost. He possessed no great strength, no skills, he wasn't law enforcement like Cris and he had no powers to speak of. No, he had his anger, he had his pipe, and he had a sort of frenzied desperation that made him capable of things he'd never thought about before. Luckily, it was enough. A better the gore that now drenched his clothes belonged to the monsters instead of Mere, or himself. He wiped at his forehead with the back of his hand, shoulders slumping as his surroundings slid back into focus and he realized it's gone quiet. Well, quieter.
He stooped low and searched for the flashlight.] They're gone. [The light trembled as it moved about the room, settling on her bloody, curled-up form, and Neil stared for a few moments. Regardless of what Sam said, he couldn't help blaming himself. Guilt curled around his ankles like a cat, pleased.
Don't you want a drink?
Where the voice came from, who it belonged to, he had no idea. Neil shook his head and took a step forward, then another, then another, until he crouched down in front of her.] We have to get out of here before they come back, Mere. We have to meet the others. [He tucked the flashlight away, his eyes having accustomed themselves to the darkness.] Can you walk, or do you need me to carry you? [No time for first aid. Not here. It wasn't safe.]
