Re: Quicklog, Silent Hill: Neil D, Lou D, Cris M
Neil didn't care if Cris didn't want to look at him, he didn't care if he thought he deserved to be drowned or whatever the hell else was going on in his head. He just didn't give a damn. Into the door he went, focused, leaving all other baggage outside in the hotel hallway and stepping through into some kind of fog.
Wonderful.
It was difficult to see ahead, and he wasn't sure their flashlights would illuminate much. Still, better to have them than to not, and he briefly touched the gun in his jacket as some kind of odd reassurance. His phone was in his hand, journals open on the screen, and he listened to Cris even though the man was clearly ignoring him. Again, he didn't care. They were all here, they all needed to work together. There was a lot of information to absorb, and Neil did his best to retain it, to remember, repeating it over and over in his head. He looked at the map. Tried to memorize that too. No guns, well, damn, but he could make do with whatever was around. He'd have to. When Cris looked at him he simply looked back, nothing, nothing, and nodded at the suggestion that they split up. It made more sense. And, too, he knew without a doubt that the other man would go for Sam.
Since it was, in a way, his fault she was here, Neil had already decided he needed to find Mere."Fine. We meet at the school. I'll go for Mere, obviously. Look for any keys along the way. Weapons, too." He looked at Louis, not liking the idea of leaving his brother alone in this place, but waiting to see what he said.
