Re: pete's house: gwen & peter
[Yeah, no, total calm was never going to be a thing, but a few weeks (or, optimistically, months) without a major crisis would be nice. Peter almost missed the everyday muggers and thieves that posed the most danger; in comparison, it was easy. A walk in the park. Maybe the big stuff would chill for a while.
Hey! [A playful yelp when she pinched his waist, but he didn't move back or shove her hands away. That would be totally counterproductive to him pulling her closer, and distance, distance was the last thing he wanted. She was warm when she leaned against him, and he didn't know or care what she'd agreed to either.] Can't. [He mumbled against her mouth, a thoughtless response to her telling him to stop being distracting. It wasn't even intentional, and besides, she was being distracting too. Her hands on his skin, the way she kissed him deeper... he really, really wanted this to be a long minute.
Then she had to go bring that month thing up again. Sigh.] Gwen. [Peter groaned as pulled back, distance he didn't want, and he ran his hands through his hair; she really was going to drive him insane. But her suggestion of a mix tape made him grin, and he laughed.] Oh, I'm totally making you a mix tape. One condition, though. [He held up one finger, mock serious.] You owe me a dance to one song.
