Re: pete's house: gwen & peter
Yes! [Okay, too loud, but his sarcastic comment about duration not mattering was so perfect, but she managed to moderate her voice for the repetition.] My dying messes you up. Don't try to argue that it doesn't, Peter Parker, because I heard a lot about it from the Peter right before you. He was totally messed up like more than a decade later. [She moved closer, and he moved closer, and she totally closed what little gap remained, and it wasn't even deliberate.] I know you, um, we, I know what it was like before I died. I don't think you're into me because I died, but I think maybe you're blinded by the grief you felt, and maybe you're not actually still into me.
[He rubbed at his forehead, and she maybe forgot that she was making a point, and she closed her fingers around his wrist and tugged his hand down.] I know this is frustrating. [But he relented and said okay, and she was smiling and breathing a little easier by the time he shook his head. Oh, and, um, she finally let go of his wrist - oops?] I'm trying to ensure you make the right choices for yourself. You should be thanking me for being totally selfless. [She nudged her hip against him.] Um, you can maybe kiss me one last time.
