Re: pete's house: gwen & peter
They're versions of me. I'm disavowing knowledge I have every right to disavow. [Peter raised his eyebrows.] Oh boy, talk about pressure. I don't even want to ask how long this list would be. [Like her, he was teasing, even though he wasn't super interested in the shortcomings of Peters 1-5. Or, you know, however many there'd been before him.] But snoring, just so you know, is not a negative trait. It's natural. Lots of people snore. [Not that he snored! —Well, not usually. Sometimes. Totally not the point, and Gwen was right; he stuck to his guns when it mattered, when it was important. Stubborn, just like her, and maybe they both drove each other a little crazy because of it.
He'd never, ever (almost never) admit that she had improved his webs a little (kind of) and maybe he'd never have to. Anyway, just then, Peter wasn't thinking about webs. He wasn't thinking about much beyond her, and the moment, and—kissing. Definitely the kissing. The flex of her fingertips against his skin made him shiver, just a little, and it was hard to keep still with her squirming against him.] I'll try to shush you all I want. [Anything that made her stop kissing him was, in his opinion, a waste, and he shifted his weight again, sliding a knee between her thighs and using that to hold himself up. The way she huffed against his lips, he liked that, and he smiled before dragging her back into the kiss.
Okay, so even he wasn't exactly sure when he was talking about. The past month, back home—all of it, maybe. Or, just plain and simple, he'd missed her. But he wasn't expecting her to ask what he'd missed most, and he was totally going to answer, he was, but when she kissed him harder he was temporarily distracted. It took a lot of effort, but in between kissing her back and brushing his tongue against hers he managed to find words.]
That's a hard question. [Breathless.] I missed talking to you. Seeing you. I missed your logic. [Tease.] I can't pick just one thing. I missed everything. [Totally cheesy, and his cheeks flamed, but it was true.]
