Re: pete's house: gwen & peter
[She didn't miss the shared headspace situation, which had totally sucked. But going through different versions of someone she'd been crazy about had been really rough, and finding out she was going to die had been rough too. She didn't know if she envied the situation he arrived in or not, but she thought it was probably a better situation. She could chart it out, lists and pros and cons, but she wasn't as interested in doing that as she might have been in the past. All the charts in the world hadn't stopped really bad stuff from happening.] Jason's actually nicer about it than Harry. Harry just tells me he doesn't want me to be Gwen, and I don't have a solution that seems acceptable to him, not one that doesn't involve completely disappearing from everyone's life.
[There was no doubt that the decision to stay or go was her choice, but she valued his opinion.] Why don't you think I should go? It would make everything totally better. No one who knew me- her would need to see me. Everyone would be a stranger, and Gwen Stacy would just be a name, one that wasn't associated with a dead girl in Olivet Cemetery. [Her voice was certain, and she was kind of like a determined little train, full speed ahead until he said that he thought she was still her.] You really don't think it's weird?
[She laughed when he groaned, and she poked a finger against his chest.] Just tell me. Your lack of disclosure means I'm going to assume super bad stuff, which will lead me to do my own research. If you tell me, you can actually control the information marginally.
[If she focused on her abilities, she had no doubt that she could totally beat his butt when it came to spidering, but she'd been giving that a pretty small amount of time in the past. Like she'd told Flash, she kind of hoped to change that, and then she could challenge the smug bug boy to some spidery duel that would officially remove all doubts about her awesomeness. But that was a long way away, and now she just watched him grin as he flopped next to her, leaned against his hand and told her that it was nice to see her smile.] Don't do that. It makes me smile more. [Which she did, even though she totally tried not to (for like five seconds).] Um, I think disclosing information about point acquisition would be cheating.
