Re: quicklog: domino/jean at the mansion
I'd like to say it gets easier, but I don't think it does. [Jean let out a small sigh and cradled the bottle of wine in the crook of her arm.] I've been here a few months, now. Wanda told me about how the school used to be packed with people to the point that you could barely walk without bumping into someone. I'd like for it to be that way again, but I'm glad that I came when I did. I don't think I'd handle people disappearing left and right as easily as this... nothing. [Domino was one of only a handful of people she'd spoken to since arriving. Most of the people here didn't know who she was, and while it was exceedingly lonely certain times, most other days it helped Jean to forget how much of a danger she could be to the general population.
Jean pushed open the door to the faculty lounge, decked out in typical Xavier fashion.] If it weren't for the couches, you'd think it was Charles' office, right? [She dropped down into the corner of one of the couches, stretching her legs out to rest on the table in front of her. Telekinesis was always handy, but today made it even better. A few unnecessary finger waggles at the bottle and the wrapping tore away to let the cork pop free, flying right to Jean's anticipating grasp. A smirk.] Did you bring a corkscrew?
