Re: X-Mansion: A Phoenix, a Soldier, and a Witch (or two)
[He was there, James-him, on the ground with her, muscles bulging as he tried to get up - her head hurt like she was Zeus giving birth to Athena - and Billy was at the door. She knew, in that way that she'd known when she'd been in the Hydra base that Billy was her son, that he was there, his magic a mirror of her own.
Billy was here.
Her son was - her hand lifted, rubbed at her solar plexus as the ache spread up from her belly.
Her son - the ache coiled around her brain -
Her - her eyes flashed red in between the blink of her eyes, static resuming in her thoughts, the ache gone. Red, then normal as she regarded the James.] You brought him here? [She asked, hissing, her voice cracking over the word him.
She crept over to him on the balls of her feet and hovered just outside of his reach, red flaring around her right hand again.] You shouldn't have come here. [Her body folded into a crouch, scarlet beginning to form around the fingers of her left hand.] Get out! [The bolt from her right hand went out, caught him in the chest and sent him backwards, breaking the spell that had made him a pawn of gravity to make him airborne instead. The bolt from her second hand left as well, smacking into the wall behind him, making it vanish long enough for him to clear it. With him out of her dominion, she waved her hand like she was painting the arch of a rainbow and it was whole again, and the door that Phoenix hadn't been able to cross was simply gone.]
