Re: jurassic world: selina/steph -- escape
[She knew Bruce was worried about her -- why else would he have asked her to move back into the manor after he saw her post-mental breakdown? -- and she assumed he'd told others about it. At least Selina. Hopefully Selina. There weren't many other people around these days, not ones that she trusted enough, and that didn't help matters one good goddamn bit. But, despite everything, she trusted Selina as much as she trusted Bruce. They were probably the only people she felt comfortable turning to now. (Aside, of course, from that pesky little non-deity that knows her more that she might know herself these days.) It was sad, to go from having a person who would be there no matter what, to not having any idea who or where to turn to when she was in pain or need. It made her lonely and maybe a little desperate.]
I think I'd rather the aliens and vampires these days. At least there's something concrete we can do about those. [Stephanie picks a leaf out of her dirty hair and climbs over a large log laying across their path. Ooof, and then she turns back to Selina, drawing quiet for a long, long moment.] I don't know if I wanna go back there. If I can go back there. Dick-- [A pause.] His daughter is going to be there. I don't know if I can live around a kid.
