Re: Tony's Bay Lab: Peter/Tony/Gwen
[Peter shuffled in on sneaker-ed feet, jeans and a t-shirt and hair sticking up like he'd just rolled out of bed. Since his bedroom had been kind of wrecked in the Carnage battle (and, also, he needed a new bed, mattress, the works) he'd been sleeping on the couch downstairs, although, he hadn't actually gotten much sleep. Aunt May had been less than thrilled by the damage and even though he'd promised to fix it, to pay for repairs, his half-truth-mostly-lies explanation had fallen flat and... well, things were tense. He was seriously considering coming clean; secrets were a huge pain.
But that could wait. There were bigger things to think about. Like Gwen.
Logically, he knew it might not be Gwen. Logically, he knew that just because he'd seen it, seen Carnage explode, seen Venom absorb what was left, it didn't mean that the girl who'd tumbled out was the girl who'd died. But Peter was stupidly hopeful, and he was willing, mostly, to throw logic out the window. If she looked like Gwen and talked like Gwen and had Gwen's memories, then didn't that mean she was her?]
Hey. [He looked between Mr. Stark and Gwen, managing a quick thing of a smile.]
