Re: jurassic world: steph/selina.
[Stephanie dove in right after Selina, heart racing just a bit, and wasn't that telling that she was just not doing the whole bat thing lately. Her cheeks pink, she inhaled deeply and smacked her head against the metal of the defunct fryer. She couldn't tell how long these dinos had been allowed to roam free, but moss and vines hadn't taken over the edifices surrounding them, so she assumed that it hadn't been ages maybe a couple weeks. A month. For all the times she'd seen the original movie, for all the times she'd squeed and thought about visiting this door (no, don't think about how you were supposed to go with him), she hadn't actually thought she would wind up here unannounced and slightly ill-prepared. (Thank god, thank god she packed that bag full of some weapons.) She'd seen the new movie once, and she had a basic idea of layouts and things.
Oh, and there was the case of that extra murderous dinosaur.]
Yeah, they're tricky like that. [She made a noise, and the wonderment of extinct beast gave way to survival. She poked her head up just enough to look beyond the crumbling monorail track above. Nothing but forest as far as she could see, and she lowered down to look at Selina again.] The park itself is miles away. Only way there is the monorail-- [She pointed up, but her finger didn't reach beyond the counter of the stand. Screeches were heard above, but the distance grew more and more by the second.] If we go by foot, we're going through the forests. I think our only hope is getting to the park though. We can't just hang out here and become pteranodon food. I'd rather get eaten by one of the big guys. [She grinned again, but this was a little more worried.] Forest? [Her voice went a little more playful, like this is what they signed up for anyway.] I think if we take a left and run straight, we'll go into the thick of it.
