Re: jurassic world: steph/selina.
[Selina had no particular interest in dinosaurs, but the wonderment in Stephanie's eyes was contagious. The kitty smiled, despite the horrible sunlight, and the smile became a chuckle as the blonde squeezed her arm with childish glee. That glee, it made Selina think of the tiny blonde in purple, back when she'd first met her. Positive, optimistic, and like the whole world could turn bright if they all just wanted it badly enough. It was a time machine, a jolt back years and years, and Selina's chest hurt the tiniest bit, even though she'd never come right out and admit it.
She followed the blonde's gaze toward the amusement park, a quirk of her own dark brow as she took in the wreckage from afar. The door was gone, which she noted too. No ferry to sail out onto the blue with, and she glanced up at the winged creatures overhead.
And the truth was? Selina knew nothing about dinosaurs.] Please tell me your nerdy knowledge says you'll be able to tell what's going to eat us, as opposed to what's going to eat the nearest shrub. [But she sounded amused, like this was nothing to fear. Dinosaurs? For two Gotham-raised girls? No problem. And as for not being able to leave? Well, there was something reassuring about that. Maybe it was cowardly, wanting to be trapped in and sequestered away from the real problems she should be addressing, but Selina didn't feel bad about it at all.
She just jerked her pack higher on her shoulders, one eye trained overhead, and she began walking toward the amusement park.] It's kind of like home. Think Joe's riding around on a ferris wheel, waiting to blow us sky high? [Tongue in cheek.] And I was hoping for a tropical vacation. How about you?
