Re: louis d/meredith j
Meredith, part of the reason I came to see my brother was to hopefully spend some time in your general vicinity in a normal fashion. We have to live with each other, we have my brother in common. Avoiding each other forever is not going to resolve the issue. Running to another door and putting yourself in harm's way won't accomplish that.
[Jesus bloody christ.] Meredith, our world is small. You're right, you're likely to keep running into these people you don't want to see. But Cris and Sam are only two people, and only one of them lives in the door you live in. If you see one of them, just walk away. I don't know what else to tell you.
I don't think he was looking for you, if that's any consolation. I have little doubt that the hotel conspires to make such things happen. But you keep living your life even if there are people in it you shouldn't see. You don't make a break for it. That, we both know, will be a temporary solution at best. At worst, you'll find yourself in another terribly dangerous place, and you'll have worsened the situation rather than improved it.
