Re: The Apartment: Eddie/Muerte
[Eddie smiled at up at her, giving a knowing sort of look that seemed to say See, I told you so. He was unpredictable and that made his life choices seem needlessly dangerous, but he could be careful when he wanted to. And, Eddie? Wanted to make it home at night. He wanted to keep his mind and body and soul intact for as long as possible because what he had with Muerte was good. It was real.
He tilted his head to the side, watching her inspect the necklace and smiling so softly at how she blushed. It was important to him that she liked the things he gave her, that she recognized beauty in places he did, too. Dark eyes looked up at her and then down at the spider as it wiggled its metal legs and latched onto her finger. Ello! It said with a bright, child-like voice that seemed to belong better on some old English street. Don't be silly, he's right here with you. The spider's voice beamed proudly and then the legs relaxed again, returning to their original position and going completely still. Eddie chuckled.] Pretty nifty, huh?
