The happiness that was filling up his body just by being home. Oh, adventures were nice and they were always going to be a big part of Eddie Nigma's life. But this? This couldn't be quantified. It couldn't be replaced. She made him feel like he was a real person, a man. Every little touch, every sweet whisper of her voice. He was suddenly there in the present and that was a hard sensation for him to feel.
Eddie unbuttoned his blazer so that when her arms went around him, they were only seperated by one layer of clothing.
