Re: Log: Evelyn/Mina
[The uncertainty ticked by with each heavy moment and Evelyn's left hand itched, magic pulsing under her skin and the faintest of green lights pulsating from the scar on her palm. But then Mina was speaking and Evelyn was nodding along with her. Now with purpose her agitated spirit calmed, her magic settled, and with a quick turn she opened the door.
On the other side was green, green hills and blue sky. Nothing out of the ordinary, really, and Evelyn took small steps forward to lead the woman beside her inside. The moment she crossed the threshold she felt the change, nothing outward to show for it, but suddenly a distinct disconnect within her, her very soul going still now that she was in the land of the mundane. She bit back a sharp intake of breath and instead smiled.] See? Hardly anything to it.
