Re: Log: Evelyn/Mina
[Mina waited in her carriage. The area was not a dreadful one, but she was still the subject of much gossip, and she found herself less inclined to enjoy it since the matter of the dreaming and her broad-day visit to Vauxhall. But there was no danger here, no chance of whispers that would carry like crimson crimes into the evening's drawing rooms. But it would still cause tongues to waggle, and she was developing a terrible dislike of brightness and crowds in London's gloomy daylight.
The carriage was smart and black, her family crest upon the side, and she'd not bothered with full anonymity.
She spied Evelyn, the familiar cloak and hair pulled back, and she tapped the carriage and instructed the driver to move forward.
Door opened a moment later, and the driver was pulling down the step for Evelyn to step into the warm and lavender confines of the carriage. Mina was dressed in white, pearled buttons to the throat and her hair artfully arranged. She tugged off cream gloves, and she smiled at the woman who had been so terribly accommodating.] I wasn't sure if I should step out or send the carriage off. I've no notion how complicated exits and entrances are. Thank you so for coming.
