Re: Log: Meredith/Sam
[Meredith just expected the hair pull to just stop Sam, to give her a chance to leave in front of her. She didn't expect it to come with a scream. Almost immediately, she shook her hand free, but the punches were already coming. Even if they weren't aimed, even if she wasn't strong, they were still hits, still the contact of a fist against her face, and Meredith, she didn't fight back. No, there was some little voice in the back of her head that told her to take it. Fight back, and it'd just be something else for them to hold against her, but if Sam did all the damage...
So she let the punches fall at least until two men stepped in to separate the women. Meredith didn't see what happened to Sam, didn't really care what happened to her. Her face hurt and there was blood on her fingers when she drew them back from touching her face. Never, never in her life had she gotten into a fight. Never had she ever been punched.
It didn't feel good.
None of it felt good, did it?
The cops were quick and they weren't that far off the strip, two uniforms coming in to break up the commotion.]
