Re: Cap's orders - Clearing civilians (Bruce & Selina)
[An unfortunate HYDRA agent gets his head slammed into a car window. Glass shatters.] What? [Tony Stark is old, old jealousy, when he'd thought there was something between him and Selina. He wonders if Banner knows. He wonders if he doesn't see as much as he thinks he does. Stark. Stark. He herds more civilians between cars, gloved hands curled into fists.
He knows he can't let emotion blind him, as much as he wants to let it. This isn't his turf. It isn't his team. Jason is his son, but there's nothing he can do for him while HYDRA is still crawling all over the place. For now, he'll listen. He'll do what he was tasked to do.
Not much can be felt through the armor (which is the point), but the Bat is aware of the touch all the same. While she's directing people, getting them to safety, he covers the rear; stragglers who don't head for the sound, the sonic wave, using the cars to his advantage and firing batarangs for long-range attacks. (Non-lethal, of course, the men are only unconscious.)] We're not dying here. [Firm.] I didn't come home to die like this. That's a yes, by the way. [He draws the agents toward the tanks. Two birds, one stone.]
