Re: House of Strays: Ronan/Ben
[It wasn't that unusual for him to swipe Ben's clothes, but this case was different. He'd pulled the Henley out the hamper in their bedroom that morning, aching after another night alone in their bed and needing something that smelled more strongly of Ben, so that he could tug the long sleeves down over his hands and hold them against his face and breathe in the scent of him. It fits him alright in the shoulders but hangs a little loose around his waist, and he's fiddling with the extra material there as he listens and nods.
Then his breath catches, and his eyes flutter a little - in anticipation, relief, nervous energy bubbling up and over when Ben brings a hand up to his shoulder. He presses into the touch, turning so that he's angled to face Ben and leaning his hip against the couch.]
I miss you. [His voice quavers a little and he's suddenly afraid that Ben is going to tell him that he's not coming home, that he's just stopping by to pack his things or pack Ronan's things for him and that it's not their home anymore. He reaches out to catch Ben's wrist, the one that still hangs at his side, in the circle of thumb and fingers. Looks up at him, eyes shining.]
