Re: Apartment: Mingmei & Donna
"Hmm? Oh, I guess it really depends, but we always try to make it welcoming," Mingmei explained, sort of giving an answer to Donna's curious question. "And feng shui is a really unique way to make sure that everyone is happy. Um. There's not really a book, but really, the best feng shui involves facing certain directions and avoiding blocking the air movement in the room. There's a lot to it." She nodded fiercely, not sure of how she could explain it more simply for her new friend.
She did, however, beam as Donna seemed to understand the age old concept of bargaining. "Right! It's more showing how you respect the person you're working with, really. And I am sure that I could. I haven't really in a formal business setting, but I imagine I could. It would be fun, I think!"
Between coding and looking at what she was doing on the computer, Mingmei took a few bites of dumplings, enjoying it while she could. It wasn't so original to her as it was something from home, but they were still always delicious. However, Donna's question threw her by surprise. She'd always been someone to learn the most out of everything around her, so that way when it came time to getting a job, her skill set would match what she was learning. She blinked over at Donna with her question, adding curiously, "Erm. Well. I don't really have a favorite one, I guess. I sort of learned a few of them really well. What about you? Is there anything that you prefer over the others?"
