Re: Loggything: Penny and Clementine
"Alright, alright, I'll be sure and tell him you said so," she said, defeated, as the car pulled into the driveway. She looked into the front window out of habit. Where the dog - up from her nap - was sticking her head through the curtains, nose leaving fresh new prints to go with the older ones. Penny smiled. At least one of her ladies had made it through the door with her. "Frannie would approve of your definition too, if only because she likes when people come to the door."
She didn't know anything about leaps as she took small stretches to get out of the car, her head spinning from all the sitting she'd been doing, once she rose to her feet and she grabbed onto the car and Clem's arm for balance. "I don't know but I hope it was something nice and not something awful," and that she did mean. She hoped his girlfriend said nice things to him when he met up with her. And it was almost enough to make her want to go to the hotel and drunk dial Olivia and get her to say nice to things to her. Which was highly unlikely considering how long it had been, but it was a nice thought for a drunken trek up the steps to where their dog was wagging her tail happily against the door so loud they could hear it outside.
