Re: Loggything: Penny and Clementine
"I never know what I'm cut out for doing," she said with a huff. "And he's in trouble up to his neck from what I can tell, but he says he don't wanna talk about it so I won't make him. But it makes it hard to ask if there's a job opening. And I'm not hating what I do, it's fulfilling as anything else. And important, and I like it. Just getting restless is all," as she tended to do. Which is why police work suited her well. She just hadn't quite thought that far through it yet.
"I think about what happened with the dreams, or something that he saw on his journal from his lady friend, I ain't got a clue, these are all just my best guesses based on almost zero information," she was plenty fussed but she smiled fondly - annoyed but fondly- "Oh I'll call him, when I'm not so light headed I'm sure, I'm fussed, but I'll want to make sure he's fine. Ain't got to see his face to call him," she said with a laugh.
Penny liked the car, she didn't mind the driving crazy, it was a smooth ride, and she'd been sicker in the back of trucks before. She was half tempted to just stand up out the top of the damn car before it even took off. Just for the hell of it. "Where'd you get this and how fast does it go?" she said grinning like a drunken fool - which she was.
