Re: Death / Destiny - The Garden (warning for sads)
[She pulls away after her pats her on the back, looking only at him as the garden shifts around them. And she knows that he thinks about what's to come, but with whatever guardian that watches over life and death when she's not there, she doesn't know if anyone will truly take her place. She doesn't say so, but she nods.]
Do me another favor? Get out of here from time to time? Just because I won't be able to visit doesn't mean I can't still bother you, and I will if you hermit up too much.
[She looks at him again for un-tracked moments, and then leans up on her toes to kiss his cheek.] Thank you. [She doesn't say for what. Maybe for everything.
And then she turns.
And she walks the path out of the garden. Whether or not she'll even remember the journey once she reaches the other end is an unknown.
And though at times she slows for something, at times she stops for a bit, she doesn't turn and she doesn't look back.]
