If you were touched by something, cursed or blessed, what you do with that is your choice, not your responsibility. Some sell their souls for power and do the bidding of evil itself. Some come to their curses later, however, and it is to them to decide how to mete out what they were given.
Of course. They were 'models,' as artists use - at least, according to the gentleman. And they were amply paid for their services, I assumed. I found it distasteful, but it was not my party. Most of the patrons were thrilled for the unique spectacle. All the rage in Paris some years ago, apparently. It was a bit of an homage to the old, titillating the new.
