Re: Marvel, training: Flash, Gwen, Peter
Logic. [It was grumbled, because Flash being logical at sunrise was way more than Gwen could handle. She reached for a piece of bacon when he put the plate down, and she made a sound of pleasure (which was so no deliberate!), but it tasted really good. Since the whole spider thing, her appetite had kind of skyrocketed, and all the green smoothies in the world didn't seem to fill her up like they had before. She took another piece between her fingers, like it wasn't totally weird to see someone her size (she was kind of small, okay) holding a piece of bacon in each hand.]
My landing skills are acceptable. I kind of only figured out the webslinging part. [And, okay, so even she realized that it needed it to be instinctual, but she just couldn't shake the fear of heights required to make it effortless and thoughtless. But she'd gone right to the webs, no work in-between, and maybe that was the culprit. She refused to believe she just sucked because she sucked. She was too competitive, top-of-the-class to give up that easily.
One hand free, she cut off a bit of pancake with her fork. She made another sleepy-pleased sound after the bite, and she took two slices of bacon and layered them with perfect symmetry atop the pancake, then she smothered it all with syrup. Then came the knock at the window, and she just motioned (In!) with her hand, because her mouth was totally full.]
