Re: Log, Ocean's Eleven: Neil D & Lin A
While he might not fully understand wanting to look like a girl, or wearing pink, frilly things, Neil believed 'to each their own' and if it didn't effect him, well, what right did he have to judge? Lin was Lin, regardless. He could wear what he liked, look however he wanted to. He was his friend; that was the important part. To hell with everyone else. That state of mind had never been more fitting, especially after the disastrous double date, which had been disastrous despite his efforts to behave and have things go smoothly.
"This jelly? I didn't realize the specificity of the question was important." He smiled, good-natured humour was he was led or, arguably, dragged along, and truth be told he'd never had reason to be in a Vegas chapel. Why would he? He wasn't religious, he hadn't been married or been to a wedding in quite some time. Neither did he know anyone about to get married, and before Lin the idea of watching ceremonies for fun had never occurred to him. "Fine. My fancy ass, totally straight waistcoat and I are ready for this jelly." Miraculously, he managed to say it with a straight face.
He followed down the aisle, and took a seat next to Lin. "Does he come in first?" Obviously, 'the king' was Elvis. Well, the Elvis impersonator. Also obvious."I just learned something new," he added wryly. "Thanks."
