Subtlety was the best way to go with him, since Neil tended to shut down whenever people tried too hard to pry-- especially when he didn't want to talk in the first place. But that, talking, wasn't high on his priority list and his problems were temporarily forgotten as he wrapped his mind around Lin being a woman. Which yes, he already knew, but seeing it was... different. But, male or female, it was still Lin; that much was familiar. No one else would call him girl.
"Hi." His expression relaxed into a smile, and he raised his eyebrows at the once-over he was given. Maybe it was a little forward, the arm-looping, but Neil kind of expected it. Certain people, like Lin and Sam, didn't think twice about affection. He didn't tense up or pull away, he was agreeable that way. "My fancy ass, totally straight waistcoat is ready," he informed him, deadpan. "Lead the way."
