Re: Courtyard - Clem/Graham
Don't you deadpan at me, sugar. [It was said with false outrage and a smile that was sweet tea and sugar. She didn't mind the start of that push of his hand when she tugged on the belt. She'd been counting on encountering some resistance, and she didn't think it was anything more than that. And she made a sound that was real outrage when he said she couldn't handle cold showers.] Just cause I'd rather soak in a real warm tub, jets streaming and water that smells sweet, it doesn't mean I can't handle cold. You haven't heard me shrieking once in the mornings when I turn those showers on, have you? And those things are frigid as can be first thing in the morning. Half the time, I consider stepping under the spray with clothes on, just to delay the water hitting my skin for a spell. And don't you go pointing out that I just made your point for you.
[She watched his face when the water hit his skin, and her smile was knowing.] You can say you like it. I won't tell. I won't even tell Shane. [Shane, who she glanced over at when Graham mentioned him again, but he didn't look as happy, and that bothered her some. She turned her attention back to Graham quick.] Why wouldn't he? It's Hell here, sugar, and having something soft and warm in the dark has to be a good thing. Maybe more here than anywhere else.
[But he'd raised his hands easy, and she just wiggled her fingers some as she waited for him to press his palm against hers.] We call this spinning, and if you don't move, I'm going to run into you, and we're going to fall the hell over. [She gripped his fingers tight as she could manage, and she started moving in a circle, fully expecting him to be reluctant.]
