Re: Egyptian: Selina & Robert
[A whisper in Selina's ear told her that a man had arrived, shabbily dressed, and did she want him escorted out? And the kitty, she just grinned. No, she'd take care of it, and the whisper carried to others and others, because Selina took very little personal interest in the clientele. The best way to survive was to not care, to be seen as aloof. Because aloof? Aloof was dangerous. And Selina was very, very careful to be perceived as very, very dangerous.
She walked over to the man huddled against the wall, sway of hips and grace on those impossibly tall stilettos. She watched him as she moved, mossy green and bare skin down to there, and her expression was unreadable as the crowds parted for her like water in some biblical story.
She stopped in front of him, and she gave him a grin that was lush and spoke of secrets, because aloof was good, but secrets, secrets were even better.]
