She didn't think that he would have reacted differently on a not rough day, she didn't know that anyone would have had a prayer if they had been creeping around Cris' house talking about his girl. She didn't approve, but she didn't expect remorse either. "Who was the guy? I mean what the hell was all that even about?" she leaned forward, speaking a little bit quieter, "You ain't in trouble are you?" that was usually her, she found trouble (she'd argue that trouble found her most days) better than anyone. But because of that she knew what trouble looked like real well and people who hung around outside houses with cameras and knew things about your family almost always meant you were in trouble.
