Re: Bar Log: Penny and Cris
"Fifty-Fifty," she answered without missing a beat as she moved to pull her hand away from him. She sighed though, her head thrown back as she laughed - she knew she was defeated when he got up and walked to the bar. But it was fun just the same.
The monstrosity he walked back had her eyebrows raised, amused, so amused. She wondered for a moment if it was worth her time to even try for his glass. But instead she owned it. She took the umbrella from her glass and cleaned the end off in her mouth before tucking it behind her ear, the sticky sweet of lime and grapefruit was barely on her tongue but she knew what was coming. This wasn't her first rodeo. She wasn't a syrupy sweet kinda woman but she drank it just the same. Real quick. Wild Turkey, best used as a chaser here (and to forget). "Damn your dime," she said but made a real show of sitting up a bit and sliding it into her pocket.
