Re: Bar Log: Penny and Cris
Penny didn't even give a damn that Cris had taken his sweet ass time, because she understood that things sometimes took time, she understood that this place was crazy as hell and who knew what kind of hellacious shit she'd have gotten into if she'd gotten here first and how long she'd have taken. She was just glad for the here and now. She needed the here and now more than she needed anything else. The rest was nothing else she cared about. Today she cared about today.
She flipped the coin and caught it. She kept it covered and peeked at it. It was tails. She didn't show it off right away. Instead she just smirked as innocent as could be batting her eyelashes and all, she was definitely no Southern Belle, not even close - she was all Alabama Redneck, Army Strong, and New York Tough. But she could bat her eyelashes with the best of them, especially when she was being ridiculous. "Heads." Her hand stayed firmly on top of her other keeping that dime covered tightly.
