Re: Gotham: Zatanna, Louis, Eddie
"A bond of blood. How old fashioned." Eddie said with approval, giving Zatanna a daring look. If they were going to do this now, he needed to find a way to stop her. To make her hesitate. The puppet didn't have gun on him, but luckily Riddler had a least three back up plans. One of his armed drones (a black whirring flying orb with mounted guns) darted down the stairs after Zatanna and aimed its weapons at her. It was a little bit of an improvising tactic, but wasn't that valued in any stage performer?
Eddie turned, voice dropping to something apologetic. "You'll understand. You'll forgive me." He reached for a letter opener on the nearby desk and jammed it into his hand with a hiss of pain that Eddie swore he almost could feel. Blood dripped from the puppet and he took a step forward. The drama that they had laid out before the demon suggested desperation and weakness from the heroes. It said that their numbers were small and ambition would finally allow them to save the world.
Eddie looked to Louis, to the demon and his greed colored eyes. "Shall we?" His hand lifted, blood dripping onto the floor.
