Re: Gotham: Zatanna, Louis, Eddie
Eddie was impressed by the demon's magic. Truly. He marveled at power even if it was far, far darker on the grey scale that he'd ever get. It wasn't at all unlike his respect for most rogues, love for even the dumbest of them like the crocodile living in Arkham's basement. He smiled at the soft pull of strings, the way the demon took control. Masterful, as if the thing had been a puppeteer as long as Muerte had been Death.
He liked the old, proper way the demon spoke and Eddie thought it'd make things easier. He was most cunning around things and men who thought they were very clever. "The man you have control over will do everything in his power to get rid of you. He thinks you're evil, but I don't know if that's true. I think you can provide great power to do great things." Eddie paced thoughtfully. "I want to contribute. I want something that is worth putting my faith into. The powers I already possess over computers could be an interesting combination, too." His voice turned over curiously as if he were examining a glittering stone in front of him.
