Re: Quicklog: Penny and Cris
[Penny was ggood at ignoring, and even better at keeping busy. And she had plenty to keep her busy considering her crazy ass family. She didn't know what manner of unhealthy behavior was waiting around the corner once her own ignoring caught up with her but she'd been in the army for more than a decade of her life and she'd learned plenty. But for now she had her cousin's kid. Both of them really to worry about. And Carson. And Cris. And Clementine. And whoever else she could think about fuss over.
She smiled, and chewed the inside of her cheek when he mentioned the phone. She'd tried a couple of times, to call, but nothing came of it. What would she say? It wouldn't matter in the end. Whenshe felt his hand on her shoulder snd looked down at the ground but didnn't have the guts to say out loud that she hoped Olivia wasn't missing her too much. Or at all. She hoped Olivia thought the worst on some level, that she'd run off or someting. That maybe it ws easier. She didn't know.] I just try to keep busy, I wouldn't know what to say on the phone. [The statements were a little disjointed, some answering one thing, some words answering another, but it had thrown her for a loop.] I think if she is missing me it would be harder, and if she's not missing me, I'd rather not know about it.
