Re: Log: Ashleigh/Louis
"I think it does that, occasionally, at least," Ash remarked, mouth quirking up in a half-smile. "Though I have to admit that living above the pub has its draw-backs. Knocks on the door at 1am are my least favourite thing in the world right now."
She saw the way his smile shifted, the way his complexion grew slightly paler. "Well, I've got my fingers crossed that it happens sooner rather than later. You need some sun on your face, Louis!" She reached out to give a poke to his cheek, grinning as the conversation turned back to her son. It was quite clear how proud she was of him, even if the circumstances surrounding his conception were less than ideal. But that was hardly something to worry about now, or even think of.
"He's good. A little confused by everything that's happened, but school and new friends keeps him busy. He'll be graduating kindergarten this spring, which is so strange to think about. He's growing up entirely too fast. I just wish I could keep him little forever." Ash grinned wide. "I can't wait for you to meet him. I really cannot."
