Re: Log: Ashleigh/Louis
Ashleigh watched as Louis thumbed through the photos, concentrating primarily on his expression at the sights of home. She wasn't entirely sure, but she didn't believe that Louis had been home since all of this had happened, not like her, or Casey, or Neil, and she could only imagine what was going through his mind at the sight of the pictures.
She didn't press him for more, though, taking the phone back to slide it into her bag as she settled back against the couch, shoulder to shoulder with him. "If he does take it for granted, one of us must kick his ass when we see him next, yes? You'll promise me that?" There was a grin, bright and toothy, and then she sighed, sinking down with her head very much on his shoulder then.
"I've a place in the same door as Neil, it seems. A little pub much like the one I had back home, and Matthew and I have a little place above it. It's not much, but it's comfortable, home, or as close to it." She plucked at the hem of her shirt for a moment, fingers smoothing out an invisible wrinkle. "You're going to be able to leave here eventually, aren't you?" No, Ash didn't know the details, not entirely, but she knew enough to know that something very bad had happened, or her brother would not be living in a basement like this.
