"I'm quite sure he'd say the opposite about that if you asked him," Ash said in response, chuckling quietly as she scooted closer towards him as she flipped through images on the phone, finding the album she reserved for pictures of her son. Queued up, she offered it over to Louis to brows through as she settled back against the couch, head tipped nearly to rest on his shoulder, but not quite. It felt comfortable here, despite the circumstances, and Ash was glad she could be here, that she could see him, help him out where she could.
She let out a long breath, her smile warm in response. "Casey's good. Really good. The leg's getting better, and he was still going to physical therapy for that before I got here. He's doing some acting work, stage, commercials, anything he can land, actually. It's just... good to see him happy. It really is. I'm sure he'd like to be here too, though I'm quite glad at least one of us is free from the hotel for the moment."
