Re: Loft: Selina & Robert & Eddie
[Selina forgot about Eddie nearly as soon as he was gone. Blame the booze, and she was completely oblivious to Robert's current level of distress. He'd calmed down. He wasn't yanking at the door anymore, and she was drunk enough and tired enough that she took that to mean things were just fine again. After all, her belief that his interest in her was minimal was very certain, and Tony was alive, and everything was just fine.
His fingers around her wrist made her smile up at him, drunken and unfocused, and wasn't he just so helpful? She let him guide her to the bed, which was a disaster of designer things and the occasional jewel or two; Selina loved expensive things, but she wasn't very good at taking care of them. Another yawn, and she crawled into bed without protest. She didn't bother changing, however; the kitty cat was much too tired.
A yawn, a stretch, and she managed to tug down a little on the suit's zipper before giving up. Initially cuurled on her side, she closed her mossy green eyes and made a sound that was all purr, pleased to be in her bed and limp exhaustion in her frame as she sprawled out onto her back like the most trusting and contented of cats.]
Thank you for coming. [It slipped, but her voice was already going thick with sleep, and the kitty cat didn't even notice.]
