Re: Loft: Selina & Robert & Eddie
[Eddie was content with other people talking about his love life. It was always like that and Gotham was known for its gossip. As for if Muerte wanted people talking about her, well he would have to guess no, but she really didn't have any choice in the matter. And besides, it came from a place of fondness. If Selina was equating Muerte to something in one of those romantic books she loved to leaf through, it was a good thing.
So, once the conversation turned away from him, he looked up curiously. It was a lot safer to tease him than talk about the last Banner or what happened to Tony Stark. What happened to Selina. Eddie saw Selina casually hand over the phone and Eddie touched the side of his temple so he could tap into what was playing on her phone. Talking to computers was a neat hat trick after all. He saw the video of Selina, a young meow face on the brink of death and Stark...Eddie was so shocked by the memory of it, the pain of that entire fucking plague that he didn't move. One hand pressed to his temple while the other held a wooden spoon. It was like his processors had completely stalled.] Oh shit. [He finally whispered and squinted. The video glitched out, pixalated blues and greens spreading across the screen like exploding asteroids and then it switched to the first thing Eddie could think of.
Eddie tossed the spoon on the counter and walked over to them, wagging a finger at Selina.] Bad kitty. [For a moment, the riddled man was glad that he had spent so much time with the last Banner. Researched him. Knowing that the man had been abused by his father helped because Eddie was in that boat, too. Trauma led to not wanting to be touched or cornered. He gave the man some space and just let grumblecakes play from Selina's phone.] All that stuff is over.
