THE PARTING MEME
It could be temporary, or forever. It could be for work, vacation, or something more fundamental. No matter how it's happening the fact of the matter is you're leaving someone - and one, or both of you, aren't happy about it. How to Play:

PROMPTS
- WORK TRIP: So it's only a week and it's for a boring work thing, but it's always tough to leave the one(s) you love.
- BEYOND YOUR CONTROL: It's not by choice, it's not what you, or they, want. It doesn't matter, something is tearing you two apart and now you have to say goodbye.
- CAN'T BE WITH THEM: For whatever reason one of you needs to walk away. Maybe you think you're no good for them, or maybe they're no good for you. Maybe you're doing this because you love them and you think they deserve better. You love each other, but you can't be together.
- MORNING AFTER: Well, that happened. And you've got class/work/family function/etc in about an hour - it's just so hard to leave such a warm and welcoming bed.
- AIRPORT: Or bus or train station - nothing screams dramatic goodbye like leaving it to the very end. Bonus points for buying the cheapest ticket you can find and showing up at the gate last minute.
- IT'S BETTER THIS WAY: The relationship is ending and you both have made your peace with it - still doesn't make it easy to say goodbye to someone who was such an important part of your life.
- SUMMER CAMP AU: Congrats, you're a preteen and parting from that first summer romance, or those best friends, is just so darn hard. But your Mom's honking the horn and it's time to go.
- NOT FROM THIS WORLD: You have to go back home. Home being a completely different time and place. It was supposed to be easy - you just hadn't counted on finding someone you can't say goodbye to.
- DEATH: The ultimate parting. Better get those last words out while you can.
- WILDCARD: Not interested in any of the options or have an idea of your own? Do your own thing; you do you!
