Poppy leaving gave her a chance to compose herself, along with fix herself a bagel, which she smothered in cream cheese and stole a bite off, before fixing herself a drink.
Everything was perfect, because Poppy was amazing and she loved her so much. Making friends with the bakery owner was one of the best choices she'd ever made in life. Removing her shoes, she set them over next to the door, then went back to the couch and sat down. She really had to ask where she got it from, because it was always the comfiest couch. Where the hell did this woman shop. Everything in her home evoked the feeling of warmth and comfort.
Everywhere she looked embodied the entire Hygge aesthetic. She thought about proposing to move in and just live there, but brushed that aside completely before sinking further into the couch, despite the fact that she'd have to get back up.
