Jobs took him all of the world. Typically he took multiple ones in the same area, just so that he wasn't doing a lot of "traveling" that could raise suspicions about him. He'd been planning on returning to the States, anyway, so he had taken a half dozen retrieval jobs in the city. People liked to try an hide in the large cities, which was stupid. They always stood out as they tried to blend in. It was sad, really.
But, it was a job (or six) and he was good at what he did. His search for this one particular person had taken him to Kensington Stables. He wasn't going for a person moreso something the person had. Whether it was on them or in their home, he didn't know. But, he had been following the person for days now. He needed to figure out where the item was, and more importantly the person's schedule (in case he had to do some breaking and entering).
He'd blended in with the tour, not really like this particular horse, though. It wasn't very well bred and didn't follow instructions well. He gave the reins a little tug, trying to get it back in line when his attention was pulled from the horse and his mark. He frowned, looking around, his eyes landing on a man off in the distance. No. Not just a man. He knew that man. He'd know that man anywhere. He'd fallen back in the group and he pulled the horse to a stop, dismounting and quickly moving off in the direction of the other man.
He stopped the closer he got though, chuckling. Wow. He'd not been expecting that. He was so young. And smaller than he remembered. But, a lot of people were smaller than Orion. "That's a nice horse there." Anything, though, was nicer than the one he'd just left. But, this one was pretty amazing.
