Hebe had assumed the light in the house to be from holes in the ceiling letting in the sun. She held her hand up to inspect the fixtures now that they were pointed out. "Power cord? Electricity like your lightning bolt?" She was confused by the concepts, the words not exactly matching in meaning in her mind. Her gaze had turned to watch him poke at some kind of lighted object on the wall while speaking about temperature. There were far too many things to focus on.
Not arguing or questioning, Hebe sat down on the stool, her legs swinging back and forth at the height difference. Her head canted once again to watch him get water from the spigot; Romans had had such things so it did not intrigue her as much as she just accepted that he had to be very rich in the life to have one privately run for him. "Betrayed? Why would he do such a thing? Did he help Kronos escape from Tartarus?"
There wer emore questions but she jumped back off the stool when the toast popped up. The bread had been a strange shape but the chained 'toaster' seemed to bake it- surely that was made by Heph? The closet with food in it was also a very strnge thing but she only got a glimpse before Zeus shut the door and presented a glass of jam. "Oh, my hair has already been oiled," she said as she brushed her finger over the butter to see what exactly it might be.
Putting jam on the bread with her finger, she smiled as she started to eat it. "This tastes weird," she giggled.
Setting the bread down, she raised her shoulder to her cheek sweetly. "I am glad you know who you are. I had told Zephyros that if you had not been I would return to him, even though I did not wish to go back to sleep. It was very scary waking up in such a cold and dark room. I thought I might have fallen asleep visiting Persephone and Hades."
