Pheme had been taking a break. It wasn't what she wanted to do, but Hermes blackmailed her into it by threatening to withhold her coffee if she didn't take a nap. She knew he was right; she had been going non-stop ever since they got the videos and Cerberus took off to confront his father. She could have gone with him, but knew that her unique talents would be more useful elsewhere.
It hadn't initially been her desire to be Zeus' right hand man, but someone needed to get the meeting place set up and Pheme knew if she didn't distract herself she'd end up going stir-crazy. Of course, once she got started making everyone on their side aware of the meeting place, and turning it into a true base of operations, she was in too deep to want to stop. Even when Zeus finally arrived, she was so hung up on her desire to prove her loyalty and worth, that if it wasn't for her dire caffeine addiction she would have kept on going until she passed out.
The nap ended up being a little longer than she intended.
Cerberus had said he would be there, and true to his word Pheme was able to spot him easily. Waving at him, she took a moment to hunt down Hermes to get her iced mocha before looking around. There were more people here than before, and she could tell not all of them were pleased with how things were going. After checking in with Zeus to see if she was needed for anything, she spotted a semi-familiar face.
He looked pissed. Like he had deliberately chosen the most shadowy corner on purpose, hoping to fade into it. Clearly a man who didn't want to be bothered. And yet, Pheme was already heading his way, absolutely intent on doing just that.
Okay, so maybe it wouldn't be a full scale bothering. More like, a completely inconvenient first re-meeting. Smiling as she dragged a chair over next to his, she sat down. "I'm sure you know we're doing everything we can to find and free Melinoe and the others. She's one of my best friends, and I know Cerberus is chomping at the bit to go after those bastards."
