Cassandra had seen the posting from Hades on the internet. That he was free and asking questions didn't upset her. She had been saddened by his punishment because he and Persephone had always been good to her after her death. She had loved them and their family and the others in the Underworld. She wanted to find a way that she could assist him in locating his family without causing trouble. Trouble because if he was here and looking for others... could ones like Apollo or Athena also been waking up? That was the one thing that had her upset and worried. She had so many issues with Apollo and she had made it her job to find him and keep an eye on him each time she was able to. She was very good at being able to find what mortal persona he had been reborn in and this time was no exception. She had found him and had been a bit amused about how different his mortal personality in this life was from his personality as a god. She visited often, keeping an eye on him and making sure he was still no threat to her... or to the man that has become her best friend and brother in all of these years. Because both she and Achilles had quite a lot to hold against the former god of the sun and everything else. He had wronged them both greatly and even though he could not harm them now, she didn't want him to be able to even get close to them. And if she had to, she would at least make sure he stayed far away from Achilles and Patroclus. She had learned how to fight and defend in the passing years since Kronus had lifted her up and made her a goddess. Cassandra smiled when one of her customers waved at her as they were leaving the store. She had come in looking for help to combat a friend's bad dreams and Cassandra had been all too happy to use her knowledge to help. Unlike her life before, she was listened to now and the things she knew or saw were believed and trusted. She went back over to her table where her cards for the day were waiting. People came to her store every day for readings and she knew that there would be more to come in before the day was over. She was okay with that. Apollo's mortal host had classes most of the day so she would go check on him later to make sure he was still a human with no signs of waking. |
