5:47 pm [rippledtimemods]	Game-wide plots this week: Students who are ready to complete their schooling will each be called into Merlin’s office for a private conference about their next steps. (If you want to rp that, we can, or else we can talk about it ooc.) Students can continue training in specific fields (Martial Studies, Healing) or elect to continue training as a Scholar (graduate studies in a subject or field) or pursue merchant or skilled trades. There are roles for students to work within the castle (library, grounds or kitchens for example). The Council is a student governing body for the legal/government/leader sorts. (OOC: These are just what we’ve thought of - if you have other ideas please suggest them!) Merlin indicates that graduated students will have additional housing options so that they can live with friends or lovers from other houses, but that nothing will happen until after the Solstice (We’ll make a post next week about rooming options and to reorganize the housing.). Injuries: Molly Weasley was struck by a bludger directed by Hunter Pucey immediately after the start of the game, breaking her right arm and bringing in Eva Brood as seeker and a secondary reserve chaser. Hunter Pucey was struck by a bludger directed by Ryan Whitby, fracturing his shoulder. (Comment on this)

12:57 pm [rippledtimemods]	So, for the next half, Quidditch games will have "scouts" from various teams coming in. The student body as a whole is completely unaware of this fact (with the exception of HB/HG and whoever they elect to tell), but this is something you can all use. If one of your characters wishes to be spoken to by a scout after they have a particularly good game, let us know, and you can use this for journals/conversation topics after the fact. This should be restricted to seventh years and the two sixth year captains. There are six more games upcoming, and they are all documented on the calendar so you know when your team next plays and you can keep track of scores. Also, dates for apparition signups and lessons and end-of-year tests are now on the calendar too, along with a Valentine's Ball and Spring Recess. The same rules will apply for the spring recess as were in place for the Winter Holidays--if a past-gen finds someone to be responsible for them, they can leave the school. Enjoy the updates! 12:17 pm [dark_as_nyx]	Hiatus First of all, I want to apologize to everyone for disappearing for a week. I am finally getting over the cold that hit me pretty hard. It wouldn't have kept me from being online if being online didn't require getting dressed and leaving the apartment and after work I was pretty beat. Anyway, I was really hoping I could get through this move without doing this, but I am way too much of a procrastinator for my own good. I have two weeks to pack up my entire apartment and most of the time when I'm not working, packing, or sleeping is going to be occupied with looking for a job. I will still be online every now and then, and I will probably still be in the chat (and if you don't mind doing them over email when I'm not actually online, I'll be available for threads too). That being said, I know I am like 3 weeks behind on house points, and I apologize for that. I am going to have to put them on hold until I get settled back at home. I'm really sorry, but I just have waaaaay too much going on that needs to take priority when I am online. 12:01 am [rippledtimemods]	Quidditch Results Slytherin wins! The score was 450-300. Cecilia Malfoy caught the snitch. Injuries: Oliver Wood sustained a dislocated shoulder when Bellatrix Black ran into him on her broom. Bellatrix Black sustained two broken ribs when Fred Weasley hit a bludger at her in retaliation for the hit on Oliver. Junius Corner sustained a concussion, a broken collarbone, and a broken leg due to bludgers hit at him by Hunter Pucey that knocked him from his broom. This resulted in Lily Potter taking over as chaser for a portion of the game. Alice Longbottom sustained a broken arm, also due to a bludger by Hunter Pucey to prevent her from catching the snitch. 11:37 am [purist_]	Hi guys, I'm flying out to Germany tomorrow to visit family and then work. I'll have internet access when I get to the hotel on Sunday but I'm not sure how busy I'll be during that week, so I might be in and out. I'll be back next weekend, and will have a full week of regular Internet access then leave again to the US on the following Friday (23rd). I'll be at my parents at that time so I'll have a lot of internet access until we fly out to Peru for a week, so basically, my Internet will be sporadic until the 11th of September. 8:09 pm [hellish]	HI GUYS. It's Christl again. I'm pretty annoying, I know. I dropped Regulus 'cause he was a butt and picked up this guy. Wren Hunt (actually, Rose, but w/e, don't call him that). 6th Year. Slytherin. Muggleborn. He's very much what encompasses his house in terms of always looking to advance himself and being clever about it. He doesn't take no for an answer - or really accept it as a word - and has a high emotional intelligence. He knows what makes other people tick and uses it to his advantage. He acts rather timid, only speaks when he feels he has something of worth to add and thinks others should do the same (unless he's chilling with friends, that's another story), and is pretty serious. For all intents and purposes, he comes across modest but he's totes manipulating you. He grew up in council housing in Wales and a piss poor family. They're pretty trashy and chav-y. His mom's kind of afraid of him. He's the definition of an opportunist. I wouldn't say he's a bad guy at all - just a card you have to play carefully with. Have at, I guess. He needs everything. EVERRRRYTHING. I esp. want to hear from you fellow Slytherins in terms of how Wren might have been treated over the years. THANKS. (9 Comments |Comment on this)
8:43 pm [escapeitall]	Hey guys! Tammy here. I dropped Clara, and have instead brought in this girl right here, Alexis (Lex, Lexi, she doesn't care) Longstrom. She is a 5th year Slytherin and muggleborn. She's fairly friendly, although a bit cautious. She tries not to judge, but first impressions are pretty much everything for her and she can be a little bit on the quiet side until she gets comfortable with you. She also has a determined streak, and if she gets an idea in her head, good luck stopping her. So...throw anything and everything at me. Friends, enemies, people who want to hex her in her sleep (looking at you blood elitist Slytherins), etc. Also, if you have anything new for any of my others, feel free to drop it here too: Cici, Persephone, Ryan, Lucy, Dani, Bri, Alicia. 12:25 am [sverus]	so, i won't technically be back from hiatus until tomorrow (the date keeps getting pushed away 'cause life continues to suck) but i had the idea to do a grab-n-go plot list. i wanted to revamp/get some new storylines for some of my characters and i thought everyone else might want to as well. anyway, THE POINT I'M TRYING TO MAKE IS: you can take these plots/siutations for your own if you want and use them with someone else but i'm also advertising for any of my characters. take it as a gift. add your own if you want. 11:16 pm [astreamazon]	Hello, lovelies. First off, an apology for my lack of activity this past week. I've been dealing with a new schedule since I started classes a couple of weeks back, two sick kids and a sick husband, so life has been hectic, to say the least. So, I figured a little OOC post to catch up with what happened over the Christmas break might be in order. Bella and Rodolphus (if that's still okay with Emme) cornered Lily on Boxing Day and have been amusing themselves by torturing her in the Slytherin boys dorms. When Severus comes back to the school on Tuesday, he'll find her there, if that's still okay with Chritl. Eva spent the holidays at home, sex-journalling her best friend who she shags, Alastor. The two met up in London on New Years Eve and went partying (again, if that's still okay with Christl) Tonks enjoyed spending Christmas with her boyfriend, with lots of time together, and some of it, she was even dressed for. Sophia was at home, trying not to get involved with her brother's love life. How successful she was at that will be up to Amanda, Em & probably Bee. Jacob spent his time at home thinking about his relationship with Gwynn, and worried it might be moving too fast. Levi enjoyed his girlfriend's company during the times they did see each other, including an overnight stay at her house for which he bought new underwear especially for. Fred spent a very strange holiday with his now much older family, though it was eased, he hopes, by the presence of his younger twin.
